Washington Oaks State Park Elopement

Shannon and Quinlan traveled all the way from Texas for this beautiful elopement. Like many weddings in 2020, their big English wedding was postponed but they couldn't wait to be married. So in booking I helped them find the prettiest location where they were staying and made a bouquet that matched her style, I'm no florist but I think I did a great job ;)

Ashley + Tessa's Story

I still can't believe the day came where I got to shoot Ashley's engagement session. We met about 4 years years ago at a Starbucks and at that time she was going through a rough time. I always knew though the right girl would come and sweep her off her feet. She's sweet, goes out of her way for anyone and just genuinely a good soul. I always told her this day would come and to just let it happen lol. The story of their proposal and love I'm going to leave with what Tessa wrote after Ashley said yes and made the announcement. Hope you have a tissue handy ;)  

"Last night was magic ❤ from planning everything in Florida, designing the ring from scratch, shipping the setting I designed to Ohio to have one of her mother's diamonds from her wedding ring put in it as the final piece and having her family and friends all be apart of it while she had no idea. When the blindfold came off I felt like I have never fell in love looking into your eyes like I did in that moment. You have made me truly happier then I have ever been. They say you will find your soul mate when you least expect it & that couldn't be more true. Growing up a half hour away from each other in Ohio and having mutual friends but never meeting until we are both living in a place we have dreamed of living. God's timing couldn't have been more perfect. We have been through so much already and we make the best team. There is something so different about the love we share and I could not be any more blessed in my life as I am right now. You are literally my dream come true ❤ THANK YOU to everyone who I drove crazy over the past month trying to pull this off. It was truly a dream. Ashley, you are my best friend and I am still in awe everyday waking up next to the most beautiful, now FIANCE in the world...I know I told you I didn't want to get married until we are old buttttt I tricked ya!"
